INTRODUCTORY NOTES

With over a dozen recordings to its credit, it was time for the TCC to simply settle back, relax and allow for a musical expression that goes beyond words. Staff arranger Danny Ray was commissioned to compose an hour of luscious, relaxing music. The result will take you places you have never been. Places of your own design. Our hope is this recording will provide you with many hours of peace, healing and love.

Director & Composer

Dr. Timothy Seelig is both performer and educator. He holds the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of North Texas, as well as the Diploma in Lieder and Oratorio from the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. In addition to the Turtle Creek Chorale, he is the Artistic Director of the Women's Chorus of Dallas and his solo CD "Everything's Possible" benefits three local AIDs organizations. He serves on the board of Chorus America and was the recipient of the 1995 President's Citation as Distinguished Alumnus of the University of North Texas. Under his direction, the Turtle Creek Chorale has performed at two national conventions of the American Choral Director's Association, toured Europe and performed in prestigious halls including Carnegie Hall. The chorale is a member of Chorus America, American Choral Director's Association, International Federation of Choral Music and the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses.

Danny Ray began a career in music when, at the age of four, a cousin guided his fingers through the C, F and G major chords. He was raised in the Assemblies of God in Fort Worth, educated by the Disciples of Christ (Texas Christian University), held positions in Methodist, Episcopal, Assembly, MCC and Catholic churches, traveled with and arranged for both a show band and a southern gospel male quartet, entertained on the theatre pipe organ circuit and has performed in dozens of recording sessions. He joined the Chorale as a singing member in January 1993 and arranged some of the music heard in each of the major concerts since then. Since 1980, Danny has composed or arranged hundreds of pieces in his church work, and he continues as a prolific composer of music and as a keyboard artist. He recently was appointed Organist for the Parish of St. Joseph in Richardson, Texas.
