Stephen joined Turtle Creek Chorale as the Senior Executive Director on July 15, 2009 after an extensive search and review process which completed the Board of Directors Evolution Planning objective for the corporate staff structure.

Mr. Tosha retired from his former employer, Verizon Business, in December 2008 to pursue an executive level position in non-profit. Stephen sought to have a positive impact on the Dallas community seeking a job in the non-profit sector upon his retirement.

Stephen entered his corporate career right out of high school while attending college landing his first position with GTE which later became Verizon. He entered the executive development program and was made a Director by the time he was 30 years old with the company. He spent his corporate career in sales, marketing, operations, process management, product and technology development and general management overseeing and running multiple business units, and finally spent his last 7 years in business development. He specifically was responsible for business development focused on out-sourcing and out-tasking sales activities. He specialized in contract negotiations and deal structure.

He has held multiple non-profit board and committee chair positions for over 15 years in Long Beach, California and San Francisco, California. This included Chair of the Board, Vice Chairman and Committee Chair for Development at One in Long Beach, Inc. Mr. Tosha holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Non-Profit Arts Administration Certificate from New York University.

Stephen Tosha began performing in his youth at the early age of 4 having been raised in a musical and theatrical family. He sang in an all boys Chorus from the age of 5 to 12 years old. He spent the remaining of his youth performing in drama and musical theater until entering the corporate sector.

Stephen was a resident of Southern California until 1995 when he moved to Dallas until 1999. He lived in San Francisco from 1999-2003 when he returned to Dallas where he has resided since.
